SUMMARY OF PROJECT PROPOSAL

Many African countries are in disarray due to mismanagement and corrupt leadership. This has lead to serious instability, underdevelopment, very high level of poverty, hunger, high rate of mortality, crime, mass displacement, mass migration and various problems associated with African immigrants in different European countries. This project proposal is a major outcome of my four years research and studies of Transformational leadership at Bakke Graduate University Seattle Washington. There are several ongoing development projects in different parts of Africa, but most of these projects are only addressing the symptoms of mismanagement and corrupt leadership, without offering a lasting solution to the perennial problems of poverty, hunger, underdevelopment etc. Raising new generations of leaders is therefore crucial to the development of Africa in particular and the world in general.

Our approach in addressing these leadership and development issues are as follows:

• Establishing primary and secondary schools for raising and developing transformational leaders.

• Mobilizing, raising and developing young adults as transformational leaders.

• Mobilizing and empowering communities for community development

• Partnering with individuals and other organizations that share our vision.

The pilot project will begin in Nigeria with 200 primary school children and 100 secondary school students. Nigeria is chosen because it has a great influence on Africa. It’s population is 1/5th of the total population of Africa. The school will also provide a platform for regular meeting and brainstorming by these potential leaders in relation to development in the society. Regular on the job leadership training will also be provided. The school will also serve as a place where these young transformational leaders will continuously receive mutual support against corruption. Our long term goal is to extend this project to other African countries, beginning five years after the inception of the pilot project.

FUND This project needs only a one time Financial support to take off, after which it will be financially self supporting.

Individuals and organizations that share our vision and identify the need for this project will be approached for raising the project costs.
